Every holiday season, Cobb County builder Traton Homes collaborates with Cobb Christmas for its annual Stuff-A-Bus event. During the 2023 season, Traton raised $23,000 to purchase toys for the nonprofit organization. Throughout the years, Traton Homes has collected and donated thousands of toys to benefit families in need. Donations are made possible thanks to Traton Homes employees, vendors and local community members.
One of the oldest and most prominent nonprofit organizations in Cobb County, Cobb Christmas has been serving underprivileged families since 1963, making each season more magical than the last. Dedicated to aiding low-income, working families, the organization and its volunteers provide children ages three to 13 with three new toys. The week before the annual distribution event, a CobbLinc bus makes its rounds, picking up toys at various Stuff-A-Bus events.
“We are speechless at this year’s support! Thanks to our generous volunteers and contributors, we raised $23,000 to purchase toys for families in need this season,” said Kimberly Garwood, Director of Marketing for Traton Homes. “As a Cobb County company, we are honored to participate in this wonderful event. A huge thank you to our local community, caring employees and giving vendors for making this year so amazing!”
