After a long week at work and school the weekends are the perfect time to catch up and enjoy some family fun. For residents of our metro Atlanta homes, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the mild Georgia weather as it transitions from summer to fall this September.
Here is a round-up of some of our favorite upcoming events:
Taste of Kennesaw
For residents of our Cobb County communities, this weekend is the perfect opportunity to bring your appetite and explore local cuisine during the annual Taste of Kennesaw. From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, individuals are invited to visit downtown Kennesaw and sample delicious food from more than 40 local restaurants. With free admission and food samples available in $1 increments up to $4, Taste of Kennesaw is a great opportunity to discover your new favorite restaurant at an affordable price. In addition to the tasty cuisine, families will enjoy a variety of kid-friendly activities including a rock wall, inflatables and slides, a trackless train and more. Live music will also provide entertainment throughout the day on the Main Street Stage and Depot Stage.
Taste of Kennesaw benefits four local charities including Shop with a Mustang (Kennesaw Mountain High School), Shop with a Warrior (North Cobb High School), MUST Ministries and the Jerry Worthan Community Christmas Fund. For more information, click here.
