As a child, do you remember the holiday season and the joy you got from unwrapping or receiving your “new” favorite toy? This holiday season we are asking that you help us spread that same joy to children throughout Cobb County by donating toys to Cobb Christmas. Since 2004, we have been a supporter of this wonderful organization and this year Traton Homes invites you to help us give back.
Cobb Christmas is a non-profit, non-denominational organization, dedicated to helping low-income and working-poor families of Cobb County during the holiday season. As an area home builder for more than 40 years, Cobb County is our home and we enjoy giving back to our neighbors each year by stuffing a bus with toys.
In addition to our traditional efforts of “filling up a bus”, we have opened the doors of our decorated model homes and corporate office to serve as drop-off locations for new, unwrapped toys. Our communities that will serve as toy drop-off locations include:
- Great Oaks Estates in Acworth – Old Stilesboro Road NW
- Lochshire in Acworth – 103 Dunlavin Drive
- Rosewood Park in Dallas– 9098 Dallas Acworth Highway
- The Estates at Davis Ridge in Marietta – 3445 Davis Road
- The Estates of Fernwood Creek in Woodstock – 110 Rocky Creek Trail
- Village Walk in Smyrna – Fleming Street (Off of Atlanta Road)
In addition to these beautiful model homes, we will be accepting donations at our corporate office located at 720 Kennesaw Avenue in Marietta.
Don’t miss out on your opportunity to help bring a smile to a child’s face this holiday season. Traton Homes will be accepting these donations from now until Sunday, Dec. 1.
Cobb Christmas will distribute donations Friday, Dec. 13 through Sunday, Dec. 16 at Jim Miller Park. The organization, which is 100 percent supported by volunteers, will provide each child with pre-stuffed stockings and a minimum of three gifts per child ages infant through 18, as well as a box of food per family.
