It might only be November, but we are already in the holiday spirit at Traton Homes. We have already started our collection of new, unwrapped toys for Cobb Christmas. We’re accepting donations now through December 6 to make sure we have plenty of time to get the toys where they need to be. That means don’t wait on dropping off your toys to help this wonderful cause!
Collecting toys for Cobb Christmas is not a new thing for our team at Traton Homes. For the past 16 years, collecting toys during the month of November has been our annual tradition. One of our favorite organizations to support, Cobb Christmas is a local non-profit, non-denominational organization that provides toys and food to Cobb County locals who are considered low income families. Every year, hundreds of volunteers come together to help provide, organize and deliver gifts for children ages infant through 15. Every family helped through Cobb Christmas receives a box of food, and each child will get at least three age-appropriate toys.
“We invite all Cobb residents to join us in supporting Cobb Christmas. Simply drop a new, unwrapped toy off at one of our three drop-off locations now through December 6,” says Kimberly Garwood, Director of Marketing for Traton Homes.
We are making it easy to donate this year by having three separate drop-off locations in Cobb County. All you have to do is find the one closest to you and bring an unused, unwrapped toy by! Our 2019 locations are:
- Traton Homes corporate office, 720 Kennesaw Ave., Marietta, Ga. 30060
- The Grove at Adams Pond model home, 2464 Davis Drive, Smyrna, Ga. 30080
- The Village of Fuller’s Chase model home, 2870 Boone Drive, Kennesaw, Ga. 30144
We have donated and collected thousands of toys for Cobb County residents during our years of working with Cobb Christmas. We are always touched to see the company, our employees, vendors and members of the community come together and help out those in need during the holiday season.
