Although we’re all happy that we get to enjoy the warm, beautiful weather that spring has to offer, there’s a flip side to this season: many, many rainy days. As we all know, April is notorious for its showers. However, you can still find a bevy of fun activities that are appropriate for these rainy days close to your Atlanta homes. Below are some of our suggestions on what you can do when the sun is hidden behind a cloud.
Visit a Museum: Atlanta is home to many museums. Whether you’re interested in natural history, art or Atlanta’s history, you will find something that interests you. Some of your options include Fernbank Museum of Natural History off of Clifton Road, High Museum of Art on Peachtree Street or the Atlanta History Center on West Paces Ferry Road. These are just a few of the museums throughout the metro Atlanta area, so make sure to get out and explore.
Play Tourist: You know all of those fun, touristy things you do when you’re on vacation? Why wait until you’re out of the state to have some fun? You don’t even have to leave your own backyard to get out and explore all of the attractions that Atlanta has to offer. Some of our favorites include the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola and Medieval Times.
See a Movie: If rainy weather leaves you feeling a bit lazy, then you can always choose a classic activity like going to see a movie. Whether you like action, romantic comedies, horror or dramas, put on your comfy clothes and have fun.
Here at Traton Homes, we build metro Atlanta homes near fun rainy day activities such as these and many more.
