Traton Homes is pleased to announce that Ed Olwine, sales associate at The Estates of Fernwood Creek, was recently named Salesperson of the Year at the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s 32nd Annual OBIE Awards. Ed is an important part of the Traton team and we are excited that he has received this recognition for his hard work in the Atlanta home building industry. Congratulations Ed!
Ed is a former relief pitcher for the Atlanta Braves who decided to stay in Atlanta following his major league career. One day he ran into the agent who sold him his first house and decided that he was interested in starting a career in real estate. Now, more than 17 years later, Ed consistently ranks among the top sales agents in Atlanta. In addition to receiving Salesperson of the Year, he has been recognized by the Atlanta Board of Realtors for the past four years as one of the top sales agents, ranking number six in 2011 on their New Homes – Top 5% list.
Since coming to Traton Homes eight years ago, Ed has sold at several communities ranging from Walden Park on Atlanta’s southside to his current community, The Estates of Fernwood Creek in Woodstock. Ed has completely sold out Phase 1 in this successful community and is now well into selling Phase 2. In 2011, Ed sold 21 homes for a total of $8.8 million in sales. So far in 2012, he has sold 22 homes.
