This weekend, celebrate more than just not having to work on Monday. Go out to the Marietta Square, and enjoy the arts too! With jewelry, pottery, painting, woodworking, metal, textile, sculpture, glass and photography from artists across the country, Art in the Park has something for everyone. Plus, it’s minutes away from many of our popular communities, including Harrison Oaks.
A part of the Marietta Square’s history since 1986, Art in the Park will take place around the Historic Marietta Square and Glover Park from Saturday, September 5 to Monday, September 7. Visit from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a variety of activities. Guests will have the opportunity to shop at the artist market, play in the children’s art alley, see the famous Painted Posts, eat at unique restaurants and take in historic walking tours.
Children will love the Chalk Spot, a street chalk art display, on Saturday. Participants will be able to create one-of-a-kind designs in three-foot square spaces. The art will be displayed until the end of the festival. There will also be face painting, sand art and inflatables.Art in the park is free, and parking is available in the two Cobb County Parking Decks (corner of Hansel Street and Waddell Street). After enjoying some art, be sure to stop by Harrison Oaks to see our beautifully crafted homes. Located near the corner of Due West Road and Midway Road in the Harrison High School District, the community offers both a serene setting, including glimpses of Lost Mountain, and a convenient location near shops, restaurants and more.
Priced from the $460,000s, Harrison Oaks offers elegant yet functional floor plans. Whether you want a master-up, master-on-main plan or ranch plan, we have the perfect Cobb County home for you.
