At this year’s 42nd annual OBIE Awards celebration, Traton Homes took home two Gold awards in the highly competitive building design categories. The Cobb County builder has won nearly 60 OBIE accolades to date. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) on behalf of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, the OBIE awards are an annual celebration to recognize the talent in the metro Atlanta new construction industry.

Single-Family Builder – Detached (Builds 100+ Homes/Year)
Recognized for the Jonquil floor plan featured at The Grove at Adams Pond, Traton Homes won a Gold OBIE award in the Single-Family Builder – Detached, $500,000 to $599,999 category. The award-winning home is in the sold-out Grove at Adams Pond community in Smyrna, Georgia. Otherwise known as Jonquil City, this thoughtfully designed floor plan named in honor of the bright city pays particular attention to function and detail across three stories of living area.
The award-winning Jonquil includes a fenced-in yard and a welcoming front porch on a corner homesite. A smoky blue board and batten exterior and yellow front door greet guests, and a second-level porch that spans the entire width of the home is a great place to take in neighborhood views.
