Traton Homes once again partnered with Cobb Christmas to spread holiday cheer to those in need. The builder’s annual “Stuff a Bus” event was a huge success, and, thanks to generous donations from employees, vendors and the community, we were able to stuff a Cobb Community Transit Bus with hundreds of toys to help local families!
Cobb Christmas is a non-profit, non-denominational organization that is dedicated to assisting low-income and working-poor families in Cobb County during the holiday season. Every year, Cobb Christmas counts on hundreds of volunteers to provide Christmas presents to children ages infant through 15. With the goal of helping spread Christmas spirit to not only the children, but also to the donors and volunteers, the Cobb Christmas members work tirelessly to ensure low-income residents of Cobb County have a merry Christmas. In addition to up to three age-appropriate toys, families also receive a food donation.
Since first joining hands with Cobb Christmas over 15 years ago, Traton Homes has donated and collected thousands of toys. Donations come from the company as a whole, as well as from our generous employees, vendors and caring members of the community. Our entire Traton Homes family joins together for the special holiday season to help those in need in our community.
“When the collection drive is over, it’s incredibly gratifying to stuff a bus full of toys, knowing the contents will make the season brighter for deserving local families,” said Kimberly Garwood, marketing director for Traton Homes. “We treasure this annual opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors, and we thank our employees, vendors and volunteers of Cobb Christmas for their generosity.”
