If you are looking to relocate to Atlanta, there are many great areas to choose, such as Cobb County. One of the best parts about living here is the calendar full of festivals and family-friendly events. One of Kennesaw residents’ favorite events is coming up this weekend: The Big Shanty Festival.
In its 36th year, this festival won’t disappoint. Whether you are there for the crafts, the food, the entertainment and more, everybody in the family will have a great time. The festival runs the entire weekend in downtown Kennesaw. Festival hours are Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.
So what can the expected 55,000 attendees plan to see this year? This year’s festival will have more than 200 booths of crafters, artisans and vendors as well as live entertainment on several stages, a Civil War encampment, children’s activities and more than 30 food booths.
This festival is just one of the things that makes Kennesaw a great place to live.
