Springtime in Atlanta is the best; and for those living in one of the many luxury homes Atlanta has offer, you’ll find that there are unlimited opportunities to get out and enjoy yourself without having to travel far.
The city is probably best known for its spring festivals. The Dogwood Festival at Piedmont Park is one of Atlanta’s most popular festivals. Now in its 76th year, the Dogwood Festival includes an artist market, music, disc dog competition, International Village and high school art exhibition. This year’s festival will be April 20-22. The Inman Park Festival, April 27-29, is Atlanta’s largest street market with more than 250 booths of antiques and handcrafted wares as well as a giant arts and crafts show. The Georgia Renaissance Festival is a multi-acre re-creation of a 16th-Century European Country Faire of Tudor homes and cottages with shopping, eating and fun with nearly 1,000 colorfully costumed characters.
In addition to attending festivals, spring is the very best time to visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden. One of Atlanta’s most beautiful attractions, the Atlanta Botanical Garden has more than 30 acres of gardens, forest, wildflower trails, and a 10,000 square-foot Fuqua Orchid Center. It’s also one of our favorite attractions here at Traton Homes because it’s just minutes from the luxury intown homes at Valley Brook Parc in Buckhead.
If looking at flowers isn’t really your thing, but watching nine innings of America’s favorite pastime is, then catch a game by the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field.
We have been building quality homes for more than 40 years, in some of the most desirable locations, making it easy for families to do the things they love. For more information about our neighborhoods, visit www.TratonHomes.com.
