If you’ve recently moved into one of Traton Homes’ Cobb County new homes, you may not know that Kennesaw hosts an outdoor movie series each year.
The second movie in the series is coming up June 4, and will be the hilarious and family-friendly film Despicable Me. Area residents are invited out to Swift-Cantrell Park for the free showing, which will begin at dusk.
Despicable Me tells the story of a villain, determined to remain the baddest villain in the world. To reclaim his position, he plans to steal the moon and adopts three adorable children to help him accomplish the task.
The movie is hilarious the whole way through and will entertain kids just as much as adults.
The City of Kennesaw will host just one more outdoor movie after this in October, so be sure to take advantage of this fun event.
