In conjunction with the festival, children will enjoy Halloween Happenings on that same day from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Young children will enjoy carnival games and other special activities including a costume contest.
- The Masquerade Ball, A Date Night for 2 – Get yourselves a sitter and enjoy a date night for two on Saturday, October 27 at The Masquerade Ball at The Grande at Kennesaw. The event will be from 6:00-10:00 p.m. and is $100 per couple. Gather together some friends and enjoy dinner and dancing in a southern mansion atmosphere. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes!
- Strandemonium! – Held at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre, Strandemonium is a Halloween rock and roll spectacular where attendees take a trip to Strandsylvania to hear classic songs such as Monster Mash and Purple People Eater. With its twists and turns, this musical encourages audience members to expect the unexpected. This show will be held October 26-October 31. Halloween costumes are encouraged. - Fall Festival of Fun – On Saturday, October 29, the Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department along with Cobb County 4-H and the Cobb Safe Kids are hosting the 11th Annual Fall Festival of Fun at the Cobb Safety Village. This event will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and provides a safe alternative to the traditional Trick-or-Treat. Children and their parents will enjoy an array of entertainment, arts and crafts, games, inflatable rides, police and prevention activities, costume and coloring contests, a photo booth, and much more. Parking, admission, games, candy and contests are free. There is a small fee for concessions and inflatables.
