Independence Day is right around the corner and it is fun to plan the perfect festive celebration whether it is with family, friends or that special someone. Traton Homes builds all across Cobb county in the most sought out locations and many of our homes are walkable to community July 4th celebrations. We have rounded up the best ways to celebrate in Acworth, Marietta and Kennesaw, so that you can simply pack the picnic, a blanket and go enjoy.
Kennesaw Salute to America
The City of Kennesaw is so excited about July 4th that they are celebrating a day early! Our homeowners at The Village of Fuller’s Chase can walk to this event! The Salute to America Concert & Fireworks takes place on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 6 – 10 p.m. at Depot Park. Visitors to this celebration will enjoy two stages of free live music including a performance by Band X – Atlanta Party Band. Fireworks will be visible from Depot Park and along Main Street and will provide a spectacular visual finale to the evening at 9:30 p.m. In addition to street vendor and sponsor booths, additional attractions will include free and pay-to-play inflatable amusements and mechanical rides.
Six-foot tables in front of Depot Stage can be reserved on a first-come basis. All other seating is general admission, so pack a blanket or a comfortable low-backed chair. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages in picnic baskets or coolers. For more information, visit Kennesaw July 3.
