Fourth of July Celebration & Cruise-In Car Show
Start a new tradition at the Powder Springs Fourth of July Celebration and Cruise-In Car Show! Located at the Thurman Spring Park, the annual downtown Powder Springs Independence Day celebration features delicious foods, local vendors, live music, a kid’s area, a cruise-in car show and fireworks after dark. All entertainment festivities, including music from Shaky Jane and September in the Park, will begin at 6 p.m. and, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the firework show will commence. This event is open and free to the public, with plenty of parking within walking distance of the Park.

Fourth in the Park
Explore Marietta Square this Independence Day for exciting fun at the Fourth in the Park event! Starting at 10 a.m., the festivities kick-off with the Let Freedom Ring Parade featuring 110 entries, 2,000 participants and an estimated 30,000 spectators. Following the parade, eventgoers enjoy festival foods, artisan vendors, a kid’s zone, live entertainment, a bell-ringing ceremony and a spectacular fireworks show. Including entertainment everyone in the family will love, this year’s concert lineup features Scott Thompson, Atlanta Concert Band, The Patriarchs Band and a fan favorite, Boogilicous!

Thomas-Mashburn Steam Engine Parade & Fourth of July Celebration
Located in historic downtown Cumming, the 66th Annual Thomas-Mashburn Steam Engine Parade and Fourth of July Celebration are the perfect events to fill your Independence Day! Showcasing a wide variety of floats from local businesses, dance academies and sports teams, as well as tractors, antique cars and steam engines, the Thomas-Mashburn Steam Engine Parade begins at 10 a.m. at Forsyth High School and ends at the Cumming Fairgrounds.
From 4 to 10 p.m., Cumming residents and visitors can enjoy a celebration at the Cumming Fairgrounds, including live music, yummy foods, adult beverages, local vendors, festival games and several contests throughout the day! Admission and parking are free for everyone.

Salute to America
Hosting one of the biggest and best fireworks shows in North Georgia, the City of Kennesaw’s Salute to America Celebration is where you want to be this Independence Day! Held on Monday, July 3, the event features food vendors, festive street entertainment, family-friendly activities and two stages of live music. With an incredible entertainment lineup, the Independence Day event will showcase Band X and DEPARTURE: The Journey Tribute Band on the main stage as well as Trevor Stratt and Courtney Dickinson on the park stage. The evening will conclude with a fantastic firework display.
