Chalktoberfest
Hosted by the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, this annual event is bigger than ever. Combining the popular chalk and beer festival Marietta residents love, Chalktoberfest has something for everyone. Over 85 artists are participating in this year’s event, working hard to color the streets of Marietta. Visit the event website here to see a preview of the artwork done by these innovative and experienced artists – you’re in for a real treat! Take a trip to Marietta Square this weekend to see the artwork in person, explore over 120 different kinds of craft beer and 25 varieties of wine, and enjoy the live music in the Square all day! For only $10, participants can purchase a ticket to be entered to win a Big Green Egg! All proceeds go to the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art. HarvestFest
This fun arts and crafts festival is taking place Saturday, October 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the historic Marietta Square. HarvestFest offers arts and crafts from local artists including paintings, pottery, woodwork, metalwork, jewelry, glasswork, fabrics and floral designs. Get to the Square before noon to enjoy the Marietta Square Farmers Market before perusing the arts and crafts booths. Don’t forget the kids at home, because they won’t want to miss Halloween Happenings. This fun-filled event is for children 12 years and younger and includes games, candy, prizes and a costume contest! Fall Festival at The Avenue West Cobb
The Avenue at West Cobb is holding its annual fall festival event on Halloween night! On Thursday, October 31 from 5 to 9 p.m., head over to the Avenue at West Cobb for center-wide trick-or-treating, fun Halloween games, strolling entertainers and live music! At 7 p.m., the Halloween Classic Hocus Pocus will start for everyone to enjoy. The fun Marietta Event is free to the public, so there is no reason not to enjoy these classic Halloween activities and a great movie! For more information, click here.
