Bill and Milburn Poston,
Our Founders
Brothers Bill and Milburn Poston founded Traton Homes in 1971, building only five homes their first year. They quickly grew from building homes to developing communities and became known as the builder that gave their customers “MORE”… thus, the company’s slogan “Altogether More” was born. Bill and Milburn remain actively involved in the company today and have celebrated the construction of over 6,000 homes in more than 50 communities throughout Atlanta.
Dale Bercher, Chief Operating Officer
Dale Bercher, COO of Traton Homes, is responsible for setting the Company’s strategic direction and the overall management of the Company’s activities. Traton has enjoyed record growth and profitability since Bercher joined the company in 2001. His extensive leadership experience spans over 18 years of management experience in the Atlanta Residential Market including 13 years with the Atlanta Division of Centex Homes in various leadership positions. He earned his BS in Construction Management from Louisiana State University.
William C. Poston Jr. (Clif), Executive Vice President
As Executive Vice President, Clif Poston’s areas of responsibility include strategic and administrative matters relating to product development, land acquisition, construction finance and property dispositions. He is responsible for the analysis, due diligence and acquisition of residential development sites. In addition, he is involved in the formulation of the Company’s short and long-term strategic plans. Poston earned his BA from the University of Georgia and has been with Traton for 12 years.
Chris Poston, Senior Vice President
Chris Poston holds the position of Senior Vice President, overseeing all of the Company’s land planning and development initiatives. He joined the company in 1997 and has managed the successful development of 14 single-family, townhome and master-planned properties in the metro-Atlanta area. In addition, he is involved in the formulation of the Company’s short and long-term strategic plans. He earned his BA in Political Science from the University of Georgia and is a member of the Council for Quality Growth.
Harry Dinham, Chief Financial Officer
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President of Traton Homes, Harry Dinham is responsible for designing and implementing the financial components of strategic action plans and stewarding the financial assets of the company. Dinham joined the company in 1996, bringing four years of corporate and Real Estate financial experience with Suntrust Bank. He earned his BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia in 1992.
Jonathan Bunn, Vice President of Purchasing
Jonathan Bunn holds responsibility for managing the architectural, purchasing and cost estimating functions from product development through construction. He oversees all purchasing activities including trade contractor relations and sets direction on pricing methodology and procedure. He also oversees the Traton Homes Design Center. Bunn’s 12 years of experience in the homebuilding industry includes nine years with the Atlanta Division of Centex Homes, most recently as Vice President of Purchasing. Bunn joined Traton in 2003.
Rick Foster, Vice President of Construction
As the Vice President of Construction, Rick Foster manages all phases of construction. His department includes builders, assistant builders and laborers. Additionally, he manages a team of office staff working in customer service and permit acquisition. Foster joined Traton in 2002, bringing 11 years of construction management experience. The University of Arkansas alumnus served as the Director of Construction for Arvida’s Atlanta Division for three years and most recently as Operations Manager for Morrison Homes’ Atlanta/Southside Division for four years.
Dwayne Hill, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Dwayne Hill joined Traton in 2006 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He is responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing including formulation of strategies and ongoing sales management. As a member of the Company’s leadership team, he is also involved with product development and strategic planning. Hill’s experience in the new home sales arena began in 1993 with industry giant Centex Homes. He spent 13 years with Centex in various management capacities, most recently as Vice President of Sales for the Atlanta Metro Division.
